Palmar reflex

Has anyone else ever wondered why people make overflow movements with their mouths when they are concentrating? I see it a lot when children have difficulty writing. The reason for it is the link between the sucking reflex and the palmar reflex. Our hands and mouths are linked due to early reflexes. When a baby feeds they often knead their hands demonstrating the link. Fascinating!
